Bilal Fibres achieves ISO-9002 certification

FAISALABAD: Bilal Fibres Faisalabad has successfully achieved ISO-9002 certification for its spinning unit. Established in 1990, the unit is equipped with 20160 ring spindles along with auto conors and complete back process.

Bulk of the products is exported to non-traditional and non quota markets, said Mian Naeem Omer, managing director in an interview here on Tuesday.

He said that with the achievement of ISO-9002 standards, the quality of products has become of international standards and the unit will now be in a better position to meet the demands of the foreign buyers.

He said that standardisation of exportable goods was vital to maintaining our hold on our export markets in the wake of growing international competition.
