Highest ever trading on LSE

LAHORE: The first working day of the on-going week was characterised by the highest ever volume of trade in the history of Lahore Stock Exchange said an LSE spokesman here on Monday.

The total trade volume amounted to 219.913 million shares. The LSE 101-share index crossed the psychological barrier of 400 points and closed at 408.86 points against its previous close of 397. 45 points, showing an improvement of 11.64 points, he added.
