Azim stresses need for

revitalisation of KDA

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Azim Daudpota on Monday stressed the need for revitalising the Karachi Development Authority and issued directives for speeding up its functioning in the right direction.

He also called in further streamlining of the ongoing development works in katchi abadis, improving the sewerage system in suburban areas including Ibrahim Hyderi, Dhabeji, Gharo etc., and expanding the city's sewerage system to suburbs.

Director General, katchi abadis, Tasnim Ahmed Siddiqi, on Monday called on the Governor and discussed issues relating to Sindh's urban areas.

He briefed about projects like Northern bypass, sewerage system, Korangi Waste Project, Traffic Management Plan and development works in katchi abadis. The Governor issued necessary instruction regarding these projects.ÑAPP
