KARACHI: Jardine Fleming has been awarded the tile of Best M&A House in the Asset Magazine's "Asset Asian Awards" issued in December/January.

According to a press release issued by the company on Monday, the winning analysis found that "Jardine Fleming's focus on M&A and advisory work has paid off "and JF should remain well positioned to capture its fair share of deals in the coming years."

This is another major accolade for Jardine Fleming's M&A team which has recently won the award for Best M&A House in Asia by Finance Asia magazine for the fourth consecutive year.

The Asset commented that although JF is not necessarily in the biggest deals, "it is involved in a spread of deals far more than most of its rivals". In 1999, it completed deals in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand, India, Japan, China, Sri Lanka and New Zealand. In Hong Kong, where its activity is concentrated, JF completed 10 deals in 1999.
