KARACHI: The hearing in murder case of Mir Murtaza Bhutto, Ashique Hussain Jatoi and six others was adjourned till January 19 as Mrs. Yasmeen Abbasi, Judge Small Causes Court was on leave.

All the accused including Senator Asif Ali Zardari and Wajid Durrani were present. The trial of the case is being held inside Central Prison Karachi.

Prior to announcement of adjournment the court staff marked the attendance of the accused and defence counsel after which the adjournment was announced.

The other accused include former DIG Karachi Dr. Shoaib Suddle, Masood Sharif, former DG Intelligence Bureau (enlarged on bail and exempted from attendance), former SP (Investigation) Clifton Shakaib Qureshi, former Sindh chief minister Abdullah Shah and inspector Zeeshan Kazmi (absconders), former ASPs Rai Tahir and Shahid Hayat, former SHOs Shabbir Qaimkhani and Agha Jamil beside other 11 policemen.

The accused were booked on an FIR lodged after a full bench of SHC ordered registration of FIR on behalf of the widows of Mir Murtaza and Jatoi. APP
