RECORDER REPORT

KARACHI: The Karachi Port handled a total 50,415 tonnes of cargo, including 39,523 tonnes of import and 10,892 tonnes of export, during last 24 hours.

Of the total cargo handled, 27,539 tonnes was dry and 22,876 tonnes liquid cargo.

The ships due to arrive at port on Sunday are: Kota Wirawan and Khairpur.

The ships expected to sail on Sunday are: MSC Elena, Bum Doo and Ncc Hijaz.

Port Qasim

A cargo volume of 70,093 tonnes, exclusively imports, comprising 3,891 tonnes edible oil, 2,407 tonnes general cargo, 22,291 tonnes wheat, 23,448 tonnes furnace oil, 8,746 tonnes ore and 9,310 tonnes chemicals was handled during last 24 hours.

Following vessels are currently at the outer anchorage: Miraj, Far East Victor, Fanari, Illiad and Libra Gas.
