1999 ACRs

LAHORE: Registrar Lahore High Court, on behalf of the Chief Justice LHC has sent a letter to all the District and Sessions Judges of the province directing them to write annual confidential reports for the year 1999 immediately.

According to the letter, writing of annual confidential reports for the preceding year are to be completed within the month of January of each calendar year.

Pointing out that for previous years, some ACRs have not even been initiated/countersigned so far, the Chief Justice held that late submission of reports not only nullifies the very object of timely assessment about the work and conduct of the officers and other staff but also causes delay in disposal of cases of promotion/move-over and selection grade, etc.

District and Sessions Judges have been asked to complete the annual confidential reports of all the senior/civil judges, judicial magistrates and superintendents (in duplicate), who worked under them for a period of three months or more, during the year 1999, as also the previous years and forward the same to the Lahore High Court immediately, alongwith a certificate to the effect that there remains no ACR to be recorded.ÑAPP
