RECORDER REPORT

KARACHI: The Karachi Port handled a total 43,248 tonnes of cargo, including 32,626 tonnes of import and 19,622 tonnes of export, during last 24 hours.

Of the total cargo handled, 24,212 tonnes was dry and 19,036 tonnes liquid cargo.

The ships due to arrive at port on Friday are: Persus Leader, Pacific Trader Parvat, MSC Elena and Herakdes.

The ships expected to sail on Friday are: Venus, Johanna, Sinar Medan, Alegra, Umgeni and Lanka Mahapola.

PORT QASIM

A cargo volume of 13,914 tonnes, exclusively imports, comprising 8,434 tonnes wheat and 5,480 tonnes edible oil was handled during last 24 hours in addition to 398 container (Teus).

Fabian Schulte was expected to sail on Thursday.

Following vessels are currenty at the outer anchorage: Yodogawa, Al-Marwah, Miraj, St. Aubin, Sakura, Far East Victore and Fanari.

St. Aubin, Yodogawa and al-Marwah were expected to take berths at multi-purpose terminal, Engro Pak tank Terminal and Fauji Oil Terminal of Port Qasim on Thursday.
