Hectic buying on Jodia Bazar

KARACHI: A few changes transpired on Jodia Bazar amid hectic buying despite it being Friday. But the stress was mostly on the Ramazan and Eid related items.

Variations were, however, marked in some Kirana items and teas.

Tea Kenya PF-1 A grade dropped Rs 2 to Rs 218,B grade shed Rs 5 to Rs 200, plus C grade also conceded same amount to Rs 191. BP-1 A good dropped Rs 3 to Rs 231, B grade shed Re 1 to Rs 223, and plus C grade gained Rs 6 to Rs 211 and D-1 B grade dropped Rs 2 to Rs 220.

Kirana: Black pepper conceded Rs 800 to Rs 14600. Black pepper from Ceylon lost Rs 600 to Rs 14,400. Big cardamom rose by Rs 500 to Rs 17,200. Cloves dropped Rs 450 to Rs 9,450. Gum goggal rose by Rs 50 to Rs 2,800.
