resigns

LAHORE: Dr Zafar Iqbal Qureshi has resigned from the office of chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of the Board of Investment and Trade (BOIT), Punjab

"I tendered my resignation at the board of directors' meeting of BOIT on January 31 due to personal reasons," said Qureshi, who is also heading the Punjab Municipal Development Fund (PMDF).

Qureshi has had the additional charge of the BOIT chairman since August 5 last after the removal of the first BOIT chief, Rashid Mansur.

Meanwhile, the Punjab government has suspended the functioning of the BOIT.ÑAPP
