50 investors open

accounts with CDC

LAHORE: About 50 investors of the Lahore Stock Exchange have so far opened accounts with the Central Depository Company (CDC) under its Investor Accounts Services scheme.

"The pace of opening accounts is very slow; yet people seem very enthusiastic towards the scheme", a CDC official told APP on Tuesday.

The investor accounts services were launched in Lahore on January 23 last.

LSE is the second bourse of the country whose investors have this facility after KSE where services were inaugurated on August 15 last year.

The CDC has so far issued application forms to over 700 investors of the Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) to help them open their accounts.ÑAPP
