Magsi concerned at bomb blasts in Karachi, H'abad

HYDERABAD: Sindh Tarraqi Passand Party chairman Dr Qadir Magsi has expressed grave concern over the bomb blasts in Karachi and Hyderabad and demanded of the government to deal with the perpetrators of such heinous crimes with an iron hand.

He said the loss of innocent lives was a crime against humanity and the people engaged in such dastardly activities irrespective of their language, race and nationality deserved the worst possible treatment.

He wondered that the agencies were doing on whom the government was spending millions of rupees.

Magsi said the rulers had miserably failed to protect the life and property of the people and added that to blame outsiders for such terrorist activities was not enough.

He said it was the duty of the government to nab the saboteurs.

He expressed surprise over the statement of the Sindh Governor that the people should protect themselves and added that any government which could not provide security to the people which was its paramount duty had no moral right to remain in power.

Magsi demanded that strict security arrangements should be made at bus stops, markets and airports to protect the life and property of the people.
