Indonesia BCA to sell shares to strategic partner

JAKARTA: The Indonesian government will offer shares in the country's largest private bank, Bank Central Asia (BCA), in addition to its planned Initial Public Offering (IPO), the Harian Ekonomi Neraca dialy reported on Monday.

The paper quoted Jakarta Stock Exchange official Hari Wiguna saying BCA would issue 1.3 billion shares 42 percent of its total in the IPO and the rest would be offered to a strategic partner.

The initial public offering is slated on March 14 and BCA plans to list on the Jakarta stock exchange on March 27.
