India involved

terrorism in
Kashmir: Moin
RECORDER REPORT
KARACHI: Pakistan never got involved in terrorism in Kashmir but India is involved in state terrorism in Kashmir and it should be condemned, said the Interior Minister Lt. Gen. Moinuddin Haider (Retd), said at a meeting of the Karachi Association of Trade and Industry on Saturday.
He said Pakistan was ready to accept the verdict of the people of Kashmir in a UN-sponsored plebisicite and demanded holding of plebiscite in occupied Jammu and Kashmir according to United Nations Resolutions so that Kaashmiris exercise the right for self-detrmination.
Under Indian state terrorisim, Kashmiri women were raped, innocent people were killed including men, women and children, Moin said.
He said India was resorting to state terrorism by deploying over seven lakh troops in held Kashmir and had killed over 70,000 Kashmirs during the last 10 years in the valley.
He said he had told the US assistant secretary of state, Karl Inderferth, to understand the difference between Jehad and terrorism. Jehad could not be stopped until Kashmir issue was resolved.
People were waging Jehad for freedom of Kashmir. He said if western world could back referendum in East Timor, resolve Middle East crisis, send inspectors in Iraq why was it so helpless to resolve Kashmir issue where thousands of people had been killed by the Indian troops, he asked.
