Japanese calendars exhibition

ISLAMABAD: The exhibition of Japanese calendars 2000 is being organised by the Pakistan-Japan Cultural Association and the Japanese Embassy here on Friday morning.

The exhibition which has become an annual feature of the association will be inaugurated by Ambassador Minoru Kabota and

President of the Association, Syed Ijlal Haider Zaidi.

It will remain open until Sunday afternoon.

An announcement on Thursday said 140 calendars published by companies and organisations in Japan and the trading house operating in Pakistan have been acquired for display.

Those cover a wide variety of subjects including flower arrangements, costumes, scenery, art, photography, sports, automobiles, etc.

The exhibits will later be given away through a lottery draw among the visitors, the announcement added.
