Indian barbarism condemned

LAHORE: Kashmiri leaders have strongly condemned the cold-blooded murder of 14 innocent civilian people in the Kotli sector by the Indian commandos.

Addressing a news conference here on Sunday Ghulam Mohiyuddin Dewan, a former AJK minister and Kashmir Centre Director Ghulam Hussain Dewan, termed the massacre of the civilian people as an 'act of cowardliness' committed by the Indians.

They appealed to the world powers to take note of this fresh naked Indian aggression against the innocent people of Kashmir and use their influence to resolve the Kashmir issue.

They also urged the Pakistan Government to link signing of the CTBT with the Kashmir issue. "Until and unless the Kashmir issue is resolved in accordance with the wishes of the people of Kashmir, Pakistan should not sign the CTBT," they advised the Government of Pakistan.

They also warned the United States that if the Kashmir issue stands unresolved, it may result into a nuclear war between Pakistan and India.

Earlier activists of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) held a protest demonstration at Faisal Chowk, to condemn the recent killing of 14 villagers by the Indian forces in Kotli sector.

The protestors raised anti-India slogans and also condemned the apathetic attitude of the UN and the United States towards the Kashmiris.
