Eid likely on March 17
ISLAMABAD: Eid-ul-Azha is most likely to be celebrated on Friday, March 17, throughout the country, said Pakistan Meteorological Department here on Saturday. "There are fair chances of sighting of the new moon of Zilhaj, 1420 Hijra in the country on the evening of March 7, 2000," he said adding, "therefore Eid-ul-Azha would be celebrated on March 17."
This forecast is based on various astronomical parameters, he said.ÑAPP
