CE slams Indian
state-sponsored
act of terrorism
ISLAMABAD: Chief Executive General Pervez Musharraf on Saturday condemned India's act of state-sponsored terrorism from across the LoC in Nakial sector in which its forces mercilessly killed 14 innocent civilians including children, women and old men.
He was addressing the annual session of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Bar Council here at the Kashmir House.
The Chief Executive termed Friday's cold-blooded killing of innocent civilians as an "act of frustration" as India has failed to contain the indigenous uprising of the people of Occupied Kashmir.
"But these acts of terrorism cannot deter the people of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, who are struggling for their right to self-determination", he stated.
The Chief Executive said, Kashmir and Pakistan are intertwined in a special relationship and they cannot be separated.
The annual session of the bar council offered fateha for those who lost their lives in the gruesome incident.
Earlier, AJK Prime Minister Barrister Sultan Mahmood appreciated Chief Executive's forthright and bold stand on the Kashmir issue.
Chairman and vice chairman of the AJK Bar Council also welcomed Chief Executive's clear-cut stance on the issue.ÑAPP
