Asian ombudsmen calls on CE

ISLAMABAD: An eight-member delegation of Asian Ombudsman Association called on Chief Executive General Pervez Musharraf here on Thursday.

They exchanged views with the Chief Executive on matters of common interest.

The members of delegation include Yuan Chunqing, general secretary/vice minister, ministry of supervision (Peoples Republic of China), Valiollah Khobreh, deputy for judicial affairs inspectorate general (Islamic Republic of Iran), prof. Bertram Bastiamillai, parliamentary commissioner for administration (Sri Lanka), Dr. Chu Kwang il, chief ombudsman (Korea), Yuen Ying TAI, ombudsman (Hong Kong), Hisao Tsukomoto, counsellor administrative inspector bureau (Japan), Margarito P Gervacio, overall deputy ombudsman (Philippines) and Fanny Ho Loc San, chief of cabinet of the commissioner against corruption (Macau), said an official statement.

Wafaqi Mohtasib Justice Mohammad Bashir Jehangiri was also present during the meeting. APP
