Indonesia capital on top alert for protest-Wahid
JAKARTA: Indonesian President Abdurrahman Wahid said on Wednesday Jakarta was on top police alert due to plans for a major demonstration.
"For today Jakarta is on number one alert by the police because there is a plan for a big demo," Wahid told a seminar at the presidential palace.-Reuters
