7th wage board soon: Asghar

KARACHI: Umar Asghar Khan, Federal Minister for Labour and Manpower, on Wednesday said that the notification of constitution of seventh wage board for newspaper employees will be issued by March 2000.

He was talking to newsmen after the concluding session of the National Employers Convention, at a local hotel.

The minister said that the ministry had already received nominations from newspapers employees.

He said so for no nomination had been received from newspaper employers and added that the government was pursuing them to provide names with in the next few days
