Free training for automotive mechanics
LAHORE: With an on-going commitment for achieving sustainable fuel efficiency in road transport sector, Enercon starts the free training course for automotive mechanics in Lahore in collaboration with vocational training institute.
The training is being conducted as part of UNDP-Enercon Ferts (fuel efficiency in road transport sector) project. It aims at reducing emissions of greenhouse gases and other pollutants at source by improving fuel efficiency in road transport sector in Pakistan.
The project plans to benefit automotive mechanics by creating income generation opportunities through setting up of automated tuning up centres; vehicular owners through lowering their fuel bills and the country will benefit from reduced fuel imports.
The three-week free training course is the first of its kind introduced to create skilled expertise in conducting automated tune up and engine diagnostics.
