16 IT officers transferred

ISLAMABAD: Sixteen officers of income tax group have been transferred and given new assignments with immediate effect.

The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has issued notification on Tuesday regarding postings and transfers of income tax BS-17 and BS-18 officers.

According to the notification: Malik Ghulam Rasool, Deputy Director, Directorate of Tax Withholding, Lahore has been posted to Central Region Multan; Abdul Hamid Anjum, Assistant Director, Directorate of Tax Withholding, Sukkur has been transferred to Southern region, Karachi; Abdul Lateef, Assistant Director, Directorate of Tax Withholding, Quetta has been given new assignment at Directorate of Inspection (Direct Taxes), Karachi; Sahibzada Siar Ahmed, Assistant Director, Directorate of Tax Withholding, Peshawar has been posted to Northern Region, Islamabad; Muhammad Ghiasuddin, Assistant Director, Directorate of Tax Withholding, Sialkot has been posted to Central Region, Multan; Raja Muhammad Yaqoob, Deputy Director, Directorate of Tax Withholding, Islamabad has been given new assignment at Directorate General of Inspection (Direct Taxes), Islamabad; Maj. Muhammad Arshad Mirza (Retd), Second Secretary (Judicial) CBR, Islamabad has been deputed to Northern Region, Islamabad (in addition to his own duties, he will also look after the pending work of Judicial Wing which has been abolished); Ghulam Dastagir, Second Secretary (Judicial), CBR Lahore has been given new assignment at Eastern Region, Lahore (in addition to his own duties, he will also look after the pending work of Judicial Wing which has been abolished); Anwar Hussain, Second Secretary (Judicial) CBR, Karachi has been posted to Directorate of Inspection (Direct Taxes), Karachi (in addition to his own duties, he will also look after the pending work of Judicial Wing which has been abolished); Ghulam Abbas Kazmi, Assistant Commissioner, Income Tax, Northern Region, Islamabad has been deputed to Southern Region, Karachi; Tahir Siddique Bhatti Assistant Commissioner, Income Tax, Central Region Multan has been transferred to Eastern Region, Lahore; Hafiz Ghiasuddin Assistant Commissioner, Income Tax, Central Region, Multan has been posted to Directorate General, Income Tax (Training and Research), Lahore; Dr Nauman Ikram Deputy Director, Directorate General Income Tax (Training and Research), Karachi has been transferred to Southern Region Karachi; Syed Qamar-ul-Hasnain Zaidi Deputy Commissioner, Income Tax, Corporate Region, Karachi has been given new assignment at Directorate of Income Tax (Training and Research), Karachi; Sardar Masood Raza Qazilbash, Second Secretary, CBR Islamabad has been posted to Eastern Region, Lahore and Khawaja Adnan Zaheer, Deputy Commissioner, Income Tax, Central Region, Multan has been transferred to Eastern Region, Lahore.
