'Anti-Pakistan statements by Indian rulers to ignite war'

Muzaffarabad: AJK Prime Minister Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry said on Monday that Indian rulers provocative statements against Pakistan has created war like situation in the region.
He warned the world that if Kashmir issue was nor resolved as per the wishes of its people, a nuclear war between the two countries over Kashmir would ruin the peace of the region.
Talking to a 30-member visiting team of defense attaches and advisers here at Prime Minister House, he urged US President Bill Clinton to resolve the issue during his visit to South Asia and convince India for giving Kashmiris their right to self-determination.
Briefing the foreign defense services men on the back ground of present Kashmir liberation movement and Indian intransigence over Kashmir, he urged the US president to visit Pakistan during his visit to South Asia and believed that if he ignored Pakistan and paid visit to India it would cause imbalance in the region and India would get encourage in expanding its aggressive designs.
He argued that Pakistan has also been the allied of United States and expressed the hope that the US president will visit Pakistan and would try to resolve the Kashmir issue.
Expressing concern over the Indian atrocities against the innocent masses of occupied Kashmir and Indian escalation on LoC, he said the Kashmiris are peace-loving nation and they were just demanding their right to self-determination, which United Nations had promised to them 50 years ago.
He briefed the foreign defense attaches that Kashmiris have been fighting for the achievement of their right to self-determination and India was terming their struggle as terrorist movement to divert the world attention.
He said that India was increasing military strength in occupied Kashmir dreaming to quell on-going liberation movement, but he said if India brought its all army in the occupied Kashmir, she can't slow down the liberation movement and will have to quit Kashmir sooner later.
He added that if India has been sincere for the resolution of Kashmir issue, she should accept the mediation of third country.
Replying to question, he said that Kashmiris of both sides of LoC be given a opportunity to sit together and find a viable solution of the dispute.
Later, the prime minister hoisted a dinner in the honor of visiting defense attaches and advisers.
They also met with APHC leaders at Khurshid Memorial library who briefed them on the latest situation of occupied Kashmir.
Defense attaches visit refugees camp, ManikPian where they were briefed on the measures taken by the AJK govt for the rehabilitation of the refugees.
