4 cops hurt in grenade explosion

PESHAWAR: Four cops received minor injuries when a handgrenade exploded with a bang in the Maalkhana of Takhtbhai police station in Mardan District on Monday.

According to police sources, the hand grenade lying in the Maalkhana of the police station went off, causing slight injuries to four officials of the police station.

The injured were identified as Irshad, Waris Khan, Farrukh Syed and Shah Syed.

The injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Takhtbhai. The condition of the injured is stated to be out of danger. APP
