PPP stalwarts celebrate 'Basant'

Lahore: Despite an early downpour and slow breeze a number of top PPP leader took part in Basant festivities here on Sunday.

Jahangir Badr, Secretary General, PPP, who himself is an ardent kite flyer along with other party members including Qasim Zia, Munnawar Hussain Suharwardi from Sindh, Mian Arshad, Aslam Gill spent a busy day in enjoying the ritual.

PPP stalwarts who hosted sumptuous 'Nan Qeema' and 'Pawas' parties on the occasion also flew specially made party flag-like kites to mark 'Jashan-e-Baharan'.

The house of Iqbal Sialvi, media advisor PPP (Punjab), also remained hub of Basant festivity throughout the day.
