RAWALPINDI: Police recovered six more stolen vehicles during its on-going campaign against car-lifting in the city.

According to a police statement issued here on Sunday, said that an effective strategy had been adopted to eliminate the car lifting incidents which was showing encouraging results.

Police recovered a Suzuki car No LOA 9695, engine No 622736 and chassis No 429601 which was lifted from Baghban Pura Lahore. A Hyundai car No PG 3557, Model 93, chassis No 773016, engine No 82926, was recovered by Rawalpindi traffic police during checking in New Town area. The car was lifted from Sarjani Town Karachi in August 1994.

Pindi police also recovered a Pajero No CD 4613, model 90, chassis No 4D56CW-6132 which was lifted from Jamshed Quarters, Karachi in August 1993.

A Suzuki Mehran car No AKB 359 was also recovered by the police. A Toyota Hiace van No MI 5500 and another vehicle with registration No PRQ 4874 were also recovered by police during checking.ÑAPP
