Zelimkhan's meeting

with CE, FM

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office on Sunday denied Zelimkhan Yandarbayev, a Chechen, has met with the Chief Executive as well as the Foreign Minister, or any other government functionary.

A statement described as false claims by the Chechen, about his meeting with them as stated in an article published in the press on Sunday, quoting foreign media sources.

"There is thus, no question of any promises being made to him. Yandarbayev, who is privately visiting Pakistan, has been met only by some religious leaders. The views expressed by him or his interlocutors carry no official endorsement," the statement said.ÑAPP
