Concern over delay in formation of 7th wage board

KARACHI: The Karachi Union of Journalists (KUJ) and All Pakistan Newspaper Employees Confederation, Apnec Karachi Committee, have expressed concern over delay in the formation of 7th wage board.

This was stated in a KUJ press released issued on Saturday evening.

It said that a joint meeting of KUJ and Apnec, Karachi was chaired by Sarfraz Ahmed, president of KUJ. A resolution was adopted on the occasion.

The meeting also looked into the problems of daily Hilal-i-Pakistan and formed a co-ordination committee to be headed by KUJ president.

It urged that the salaries of employees of daily Amn be paid on time and the problems of its employees be resolved. APP
