4 SDOs among 8 Fesco officials sent on forced retirement

FAISALABAD: Eight officials of the Faisalabad Electricity Supply Company (Fesco) including four SDOs, one Budget and Accounts Officer, one lineman and two store keepers have been kicked out of the company under section 17(1-A) (a).

The officials sent on forced retirement are Chirag Din, former SDO Construction Mianwali (now posted at SDO Street Light Sub Division, Faisalabad), Abdul Aziz Niazi, SDO Construction, Sub division No-1, Sargodha, Liaqat Ali former SDO Construction (now SDO Operation Rural Sub division Toba Tek Singh), Mohammad Afzal Mughal, former SDO Construction Sub Division No. 2, Faisalabad (now SDO Lahore), Allah Ditta, Budget and Account Officer, Construction Division, Sargodha, Tariq Mehmood Gill former Line Superintendent Grade-II Garden Colony Sub Division, Faisalabad (now LS-II Islampura Sub Division, Sargodha), Mohammad Javed Junior Store keeper and Mohammad Razaq senior store keeper, Regional Store, Faisalabad.

Tariq Mehmood Gill was zonal chairman of First Circle Faisalabad Wapda Hydro Electric Central Labour Union, and was allegedly getting undue benefits by abusing his position.

Earlier, Arshad Nabi, Regional chairman of the labour union, was also sacked on the same ground.
