Honda Atlas CEO opens spare parts centre

LAHORE: S. Okamoto, President/CEO Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited, on Friday performed the opening ceremony of a special spare parts centre within the factory premises here.

Addressing the ceremony, he said that the centre was a part of the company policy "to bring the best to the Pakistani market, and set trends by providing the buyers in Pakistan, with the very best of products and services."

He said the centre adds a new dimension to their business by investing heavily in the new parts centre managed by the company, to provide genuine parts through its dealer network at very competitive prices.

K. Yamaguchi, In-charge, Spare Parts Sales (Asia and Oceania Region), and Nishikawa, GM, Service and Parts, also spoke on the occasion.

They said that there was a realisation that Honda spare parts were expensive and not easily available.

They said "Honda spare parts were expensive mainly due to two factors - the competitors were here for a very long time as compared to us and have relatively older technology cars and having many non-authorised parts shops and the unreliable smuggled parts at varying prices from time to time.
