KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan will issue Bank notes of the denominations of Rs 5, Rs10, Rs 50, Rs 100, Rs 500 and Rs1,000 bearing the signature of Dr. Ishrat Husain, Governor, State Bank, from its office from February 19, 2000.

These notes will be in the same colour, design and size as the existing notes bearing the signature of his predecessors, which will also continue to be in circulation as legal tender.
