Emirates launches advertising
agency network
KARACHI: Emirates Airline takes the lead in Web technology with the development of the industry's first virtual advertising agency network. This comprises 11 partner agencies under a group called Emirates Select, who will work with the airline via Web technology.
At the centre of Emirates Select is EmPower Ñ an extranet or Web-based coordination tool developed by Emirates' Corporate Communications Department to administer and control the communications programmes.
With the virtual model, Emirates expects campaign development times to be reduced by as much as 50 percent. This will be a significant advantage to the airline, which is already experiencing an annual growth of 30 percent in the volume of advertising campaigns.ÑPR
