HYDERABAD: A biri worker of Tando Bago, 60-year old Arab Lohar, who has been on hunger strike outside the Hyderabad Press Club for the last 858 days in protest against the custodial murder of a biri workers leader Mohammad Rafiq Khoso has expressed dissatisfaction over the investigation being conducted by SP Thatta and once again threatened to commit self-immolation outside the Hyderabad Press Club on February 26, if justice was not done in the case.

Speaking at a news conference at the Hyderabad Press Club here on Thursday along with Mir Fraz Talpur, he said that DIG Hyderabad had deputed SP Thatta Wali Ullah Dal to reinvestigate the case about custodial murder of Rafiq Khoso but Dal had adopted a partisan attitude.

He alleged that when Dal came for inquiry at Tando Bago on Wednesday he stressed the need for compromise in the matter. He said that the alleged kidnapping of Mukesh and Mujahid Khawaja, which had led to the custodial murder of Rafiq Khoso should be reinvestigated by an army officer.

Arab Lohar expressed no confidence in SP Thatta and announced that he will convert his token hunger strike into hunger strike unto death from February 18 (Friday) and commit self-immolation on February 26 at 10 am before the Hyderabad Press Club if justice was not done.
