Activity improves
on Jodia Bazar
RECORDER REPORT
KARACHI: A couple of sectors underwent changes on the Jodia Bazar, where trading activity improved ahead of Friday, wholesalers said on Thursday.
Trading mostly held at overnight prices, except teas and milk powder, where variations were marked.
Teas from Kenya, Bangladesh and Indonesia fluctuated. Kenyan tea PF-1 A-grade rose by Rs 5 to Rs 225, B-grade rose by Rs 2 to Rs 211, plus C-grade up by Rs 3 to Rs 203 and C-grade gained Rs 15 to Rs 185. BP-1 C-grade rose by Rs 10 to Rs 180. Bangladesh's garden pack original up by Rs 3 to Rs 118, Khushbu up by Re 1 to Rs 115 and STD/BOP up by Rs 4 to Rs 121. Indonesian PF-1 Good A rose by Rs 16 to Rs 148, good B gained Rs 11 to Rs 132 and A-grade green was quoted at Rs 145.
Milk powder: maintained softer undertone amid a few changes in full cream instant. Five-Star down by Rs 100 to Rs 2,950, Mix Me dropped Rs 175 to Rs 2,600, bailie gold quoted at Rs 2,850, Kerry Gold quoted at Rs 2,575 and BBA France dropped Rs 200 to Rs 2,500.
