RECORDER REPORT

KARACHI: The Karachi Port handled a total 58,120 tonnes of cargo, including 39,569 tonnes of import and 18,551 tonnes of export, during last 24 hours.

Of the total cargo handled, 34,561 tonnes was dry and 23,559 tonnes liquid cargo.

The ship due to arrive at port on Thursday is Stolt Alliance.

The ships expected to sail on Thursday are Keefan, Swat and Johar.

Port Qasim

A cargo volume of 20,749 tonnes, exclusively imports comprising 11,538 tonnes wheat, 400 tonnes edible oil and 8,811 tonnes general cargo container (Teus).

Cmbt Erebus and Chirstina-M were expected to sail on Wednesday.

Following vessels are currently at the outer anchorage: Agha-1, Talana, Korea Pusan and Harmony.

M T Alex was expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday Aghia-I and Talana were expected to take berths at multi-purpose terminal of Port Qasim on Wednesday.
