Heavy quantity of heroin recovered

LAHORE: A special team of the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Tuesday arrested two motorbike riders from Venice Housing Society, Ferozpur Road, and recovered heavy quantity of heroin and hashish from their possession.

The ANF squad, on a tip off that drug trafficking was continuing on Ferozepur Road and its surroundings, on Tuesday stopped two motorcyclists, identified as Iqbal and Waseem alias Boota and recovered 5-kg of refined quality heroin and 23-kg of hashish from them.

The ANF force also took into custody their motorcycle (LHC/1096). A case has been registered against the accused and investigations are in progress.
