First draw of Rs 1,500 prize bonds held

KARACHI: The first draw of Rs 1,500 prize bonds was held here on Tuesday.

Provincial Industries Minister Ñ Dewan Mohammad Yusuf Farooqui performed the ballotting and congratulated the winners.

He noted that Rs 1,500 prize bonds worth Rs 71.30 billion were sold during the last four months. He said the renewed prize bond schemes would greatly help promote savings.

The ceremony was also addressed by Awais Pirzada of Central Directorate of National Savings and Directors Farhat Saeed and Manzoorullah Ghouri.

The first prize of Rs 2 million has been won by 11 fortunate prize bond holders. APP
