Karachi Port activity

RECORDER REPORT

KARACHI: The Karachi Port handled 83,202 tonnes of cargo including 73,565 tonnes of import and 9,637 tonnes of export during the last 24 hours on Monday.

Of the total cargo handled 20,852 tonnes was dry cargo and 62,350 tonnes of liquid cargo.

The ships due to arrive at the port on Tuesday are: Reliance, Sinar Medan and Kaghan.

The ships expected to sail on Tuesday are: Sagar, Ncc Hiajz and Trade Fast.

PORT QASIM

M. V. Harmony Dove and Oriental Daisy scheduled to load/offload 14,175 tonnes rice and 1,500 tonnes chemicals berthed at multi-purpose terminal and Engro Paktank terminal respectively on Sunday.

Seven ships: Harmony Dove and Rose Mont, Agia Sofia, Christina-M, Fabian Schulte, Oriental Disy and Ocean Duke are currently occupying the berths at the port loading/discharging rice an edible oil, general cargo, wheat, containers, chemicals and coal respectively.

A cargo volume of 30,296 tonnes comprising 29,746 tonnes import cargo and 550 tonnes export cargo was handled during last 24 hours.

Following vessels are currently at the outer anchorage: Talana, Korean Posan and Grouse.
