Apwa foundation day on 25th
KARACHI: The All Pakistan Women's Association (Apwa) will mark its 52nd foundation day on February 25.
This was stated by Apwa Secretary Ms Yasmin Dastur on Monday.
She said that to mark the occasion a ceremony will be held at a local hotel on Feb 25 and Sindh Minister for Education Anita Ghulam Ali will be the chief guest. Adviser to the Chief Executive on Information and Media Development Javed Jabbar, will also speak on the occasion.ÑAPP

KARACHI: Fair weather with hazy conditions in the morning was forecast in the city for Tuesday by Meteorological Office on Monday. The lowest temperature in the city was expected to range between 10 and 12 degrees while it can go up to 24 and 26 degrees celsius. The minimum temperature was recorded at Quetta with -4 degrees while the maximum temperature was recorded at Chorre where mercury rose up to 26 degrees.ÑPPI
Campaign against pye dogs
KARACHI: A pye dog killing campaign will commence in District Municipal Corporation East (DMC-E) on the night between February 16 and 17. The DMC-E has advised all the owners of the dogs in the district to keep their pet dogs confined to their houses so that they can be saved from any possible harm during this campaign.ÑPPI
Complaint centre of DMC-E
KARACHI: The administrator of District Municipal Corporation, East has set a computerised central complaint centre which will register the complaints and will also respond the complainants. The centre will work under council officer Najmuddin Ghangro with telephone number 4937280. The complaints can be registered from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.ÑPPI
