Probe against suspended mayor

FAISALABAD: An FIA team has started probe against the suspended Mayor, Amer Sher Ali, on charge of serious malpractice and misuse of powers.

The FIA, after recording witnesses of various persons, also took the passport of Amer Sher Ali and relevant record of the FMC into its possession.

The suspended mayor, who is son of a suspended MNA Chaudhry Sher Ali, is also accused of visiting of Switzerland and depositing ill-gotten money in Swiss Banks.
