KARACHI: The mother of Moazzam Hashmi, former APP staffer, presently Political Affairs Officer US Consulate, Karachi died early on Sunday morning after prolonged illness. She was 74.

She leaves behind five sons and seven daughters to mourn her death. She was laid to rest at Scout Colony graveyard after Zhor prayers. The burial was attended by journalists, officials, friends and relatives.

Her soyem will be held on Tuesday after Zohr prayers at her residence.ÑAPP
