First Haj flight from Sukkur today

SUKKUR: The first Haj flight is ready to take-off from Sukkur Airport to Karachi to join the connecting Flight for Jeddah in the morning hours on Monday February 14, 2000.

All arrangements required to be made by concerned agencies in order to facilitate the Haj pilgrims have been finalised.

According to Haj Deputy Director Abdul Sattar Samatio, the first Haj flight carrying 80 pilgrims would be seen off by the acting commissioner, Sukkur Division, Kaleemullah Lashari.

A total of 1,280 Haj pilgrims would depart from Sukkur to Karachi to get their connecting flights for Jeddah.

The Civil Aviation, PIA Health Department, Sukkur Municipal Corporation (SMC), Wapda, Customs, banks and the police have finalised their arrangements concerning their duties.
