Four foreigner held with 9.5 kg of heroin

LAHORE: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), Multan, has recovered 9.5 kgs of high-quality white heroin from the possession of four foreigners, who were departing from Multan to Dubai by the national flag carrier flight-127.

According to an ANF spokesman, three of the passengers had hidden heroin in their luggage, while the other person had concealed heroin in a computer monitor.

The passengers belonged to Spain, Portugal, France and West Africa. The police, after registering an FIR against the accused, have taken them in custody for further investigation.

The spokesman maintained that the Multan Airport had become an attractive place for the foreign drug traffickers. The ANF, therefore, has taken strict measures, which resulted in the arrest of these accused, he added.
