Final notices to four IT defaulters issued

LAHORE: Official Receiver of the Income Tax Department, Lahore, has issued final warning notices to four defaulters of income tax for depositing their dues by February 14, and made it clear that in case of non-compliance of this notice all the business, offices or shops of them will be confiscated.

Official Receiver, Mir Abdul Hakim, along with police force, raided the business places of Amjad Ali situated inside Mochi Gate (defaulter of Rs 210,145), Muhammad Jehangir inside Delhi Gate (Rs 40,000), Nawabdin (Rs 35,000) and Babu Muhammad Din, ghee dealer of Circular Road (Rs 194,644) and made it clear upon them that if they failed to deposit their dues by February 14, their business places would be confiscated in favour of the government.
