LAHORE: Derek Cyprian, Federal Minister for Culture, Tourism Minorities and Youth Affairs, here on Saturday paid a courtesy call on Bishop Samuel Azariah, Presiding Bishop for the Church of Pakistan.

He exchanged views with the Bishop on areas of mutual interest and apprised him of the development projects undertaken by the Christian community in Pakistan. On the occasion, Cyprian said that the Christian community in Pakistan is rendering valuable services in the fields of education, health and social welfare.

Assuring the minister of the Christian community's help, Bishop Samuel Azariah said that because of his appointment as minister for minority affairs, the Christian community feels elated.
