Arshad Munir takes over as KSEW MD

KARACHI: Rear Admiral Arshad Munir Ahmed has taken over as managing director of Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works Ltd.

Munir has held various positions in Pakistan Navy and abroad. He has been incharge of Pakistan Navy Technical Liaison Office, in France, Commanding Officer of PNS Karsaz, manaing director of PN Dockyard, and Deputy Chief of Naval Staff (Material) at Naval Headquarters before joing KSEW.

In recognition of his services, he was awarded Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military).

Rear Admiral Munir is an electrical engineer by profession.
