3 SBP directors retire

RECORDER REPORT

KARACHI: Three directors on the Central Board of State Bank of Pakistan retired after the meeting held on Friday on the completion of their three-year term.

They are Tariq Saeed Saigol, Syed Muhammad Mohsin and Iqbal Mustapha from the Punjab.

Abdullah J Memon from Sindh and S. R. Poonegar from Balochistan retire next month, and, Sadiq Saeed Khan from the Frontier province and M. Yahya from Sindh in April, 2000. The Federal Finance Secretary, Moeen Afzal attended the SBP meeting.

A farewell lunch was hosted in honour of the former governor, Dr Muhammad Yaqub, by the Board.
