Four Indians killed in encounter
LAHORE: Four Indian terrorists were killed in an encounter with Pakistan Rangers at Kala Khatai border last midnight while three other fled the scene away.
Pak Rangers Five Wing Commander Major Safdar Ali got the tip off the RAW-motivated terrorists plan of large scale destruction in Pakistan. He deputed DSP Khizar Hayat, inspector, Asmatullah Khan, SI Abdus Sattar, Lance Naik Umer Hayat, Mohammad Ashraf, Mohammad Akram, Ghulam Mehboob and Fazalur Rehman at village Lafwala near Kala Khatai.
Seven terrorists entered into Pakistan territory around 2:00 am when they were intercepted by Rangers on torch light. They started firing resultantly Lance Naik Umer Hayat injured. However in the counter firing three Indian terrorists killed on the spot while another, who was identified as Bhangram, received serious injuries and later he died.
Bhangram said that their number was seven and they had involved in terroristic activities and smuggling of wine in Pakistan on the behest of RAW.
He identified the killers as Goga, Shan nd Asaya while the fleeing were Sharif, Tooti and Shehzad. He said they hailed from the nearby border areas. PPI
