Finance Division seeks complete proposal of hiring private property
SOHAIL SARFRAZ
ISLAMABAD: The Finance Division has asked the ministries and divisions to send complete proposals regarding hiring of private property, beyond permissible limits through financial advisers, it was learnt on Thursday.
Regulation wing of the division has instructed government departments to provide all necessary documents including space entitlement of the office as approved by Works Division, NOC from Works Division in case excess area is involved, standard format duly filled and signed by a grade 20 officer, assessment certificate from Pak PWD, copy of map of the premises, previous lease agreement in case of continued hiring and consent of the owner.
The Finance Ministry has directed financial adviser's organisations to forward only complete proposals for consideration and approval.
In a communication to government departments, the Finance Division has also said that various ministries and departments are still forwarding incomplete proposals seeking approval for hiring rates beyond prescribed limits, in relaxation of rules in initial as well as continued hiring cases. Financial advisers some times send these proposals without due scruting on their recommendations. In such cases a lot of time is wasted in obtaining necessary documents for proper scrutiny of cases.
These instructions of the Finance Division are for hiring private properties in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar and non-specific stations.
